Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid Nepalese ID, and legally own or have written authorisation to list the vehicle you register on the Platform. By creating an owner account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not satisfy eligibility criteria.

Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.

KYC Verification

Before your first vehicle can be listed publicly, you must submit valid government-issued identity documents, vehicle registration (bluebook), and proof of insurance for Know Your Customer (KYC) verification as required by Nepalese law. Listings will not go live until KYC is approved. Travel Nest Nepal may reject or revoke approval at its sole discretion.

Accurate Listings

You are responsible for ensuring your listing — photos, description, pricing, and availability — accurately reflects the condition and specifications of your vehicle. Misleading listings may be removed without notice.

Roadworthiness

You must keep your vehicle in safe, roadworthy condition and maintain valid registration, insurance, and any required permits for the duration it is listed on the Platform.

Availability

You control your own calendar and may block dates at any time. Once a booking is confirmed for a given date, you are obligated to honour it unless a valid exception under Section 6 applies.

Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once you accept a renter's request (or once auto-accept is enabled on your listing) within the platform's response window. Renter bookings are made through Book Now Nepal, the consumer-facing side of the Platform.

Commission

Travel Nest Nepal charges a service commission on each completed booking, deducted before payout. The current commission rate is displayed in your dashboard and may be updated with at least 14 days' notice.

Payouts

Earnings are settled to the bank account on file after each completed trip, according to the payout schedule shown in your dashboard. You are responsible for keeping your payout details accurate and up to date.

Owner-initiated cancellations of a confirmed booking should be rare and made as early as possible. Repeated or late cancellations may result in reduced search visibility, temporary suspension, or removal from the Platform. Renters affected by an owner cancellation receive a full refund.

Minimum Insurance

All listed vehicles must carry at least third-party liability insurance as mandated by Nepalese law. You may optionally add comprehensive coverage.

Damage During a Trip

Any damage caused during a rental period is assessed against the renter's security deposit and, where applicable, additional protection plans. Travel Nest Nepal support will assist in resolving disputes but is not an insurer.

Maintenance

You are responsible for routine maintenance and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy before each handover.

You must not: list a vehicle you do not own or lack authorisation to rent out; provide false documentation during KYC; circumvent the Platform to transact directly with a renter introduced through Travel Nest Nepal; discriminate against renters on any unlawful basis; or use the Platform for any fraudulent or illegal purpose.

All content on the Platform, including logos, text, graphics, software, and data, is the property of Travel Nest Nepal Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. By uploading vehicle photos, you grant us a licence to display them across the Platform, including on Book Now Nepal.

The Platform and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

To the fullest extent permitted by Nepalese law, Travel Nest Nepal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the commission earned by Travel Nest Nepal on the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or platform notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
